Mobile developer, two years into my first proper job. I do React Native at work and I am slowly getting less afraid of the native side, which is where all the interesting bugs live. Before this I made small games, which taught me more about performance than any of my coursework did. I am still at the stage where I over-engineer things and then have to take them apart, and I have a senior on my team who is patient about it. Trying to get better at writing about what I build.
