Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FILLI.ME (“FILLI.ME”, “we”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our discovery platform for Filipino builders (the “Platform”). It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.

We collect the following kinds of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and the handle and password you choose when you register.
• Profile and project content — the bio, skills, links, images, and projects you add. This content is meant to be public.
• Verification data — information from accounts or links you connect (for example a GitHub account, a website, or a work email address) so we can verify ownership.
• Co-worker review data— when you review a builder’s professional project, we collect your work email address (to verify it against the company’s domain with a one-time code), your review text, your stated relationship to the builder, and the display name you choose. This applies even if you don’t have a FILLI.ME account.
• Usage and device data — basic analytics such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser, and device, collected to keep the Platform working and to improve it.

We use your information to:

• create and operate your public builder profile and .filli.me subdomain;
• make your work discoverable and power search, ranking, and verification;
• communicate with you about your account and important updates;
• keep the Platform secure, and understand and improve it.

FILLI.ME is a discovery platform, so your profile, projects, subdomain, and related content are public by design and can be viewed and indexed by search engines. Please only share information you are comfortable making public. Your password is never shown, and your email address is not displayed on your public profile.

Co-worker reviews appear publicly on the project they were written for, showing the review text, the company domain, and — only if the reviewer chose to be named — their display name and title. A reviewer’s email address is never displayed publicly, and reviewers can instead appear anonymously by their role (for example, “a manager at” the company’s domain).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Platform (such as hosting, email, and analytics providers), with third-party services you choose to connect, or when required by law or to protect the Platform and its users.

The Platform relies on third-party services — for example GitHub for verification, an email provider for notifications, and analytics for usage insights. These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. When you delete your account, we remove your public profile and delete or anonymise your personal information, except for limited data we must keep for backups, security, or legal reasons.

You can view, edit, or delete your profile and projects, and delete your account and its public profile, at any time from your dashboard. Subject to applicable law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you may also request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us at support@filli.me.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FILLI.ME is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
